2 mins!!!

we when boarded our bullet train to go up north to visit AT's baba it LITERALLY left 2 mins later....
it started out like this..
AT said we have to leave the house at 1030
I said NO prob.. can YOU be 100% ready at 1015 so you can help me load up the gear??

this is still up in the air about where his jacket should have been as he started looking for it at 1015 IMO thats not being 100% ready at 1015
blessing no 1.. truly wigged out cause dad was a tarter sauce and didn't get on the elevator with us cause he NEEDED gum????? ran back inside the already locked door( thats how bad he wanted it) but we proceed anyways.. she goes to scream daddy and stuck her finger in the elevator door to hold it for him.... OUCH!!
I am comforting her and ozzy as both are having melt downs.. then AT comes down looks at me and says "i gotta run back upstairs I forgot the tickets"
I am getting HEATED as if he could have JUST done one thing get himself 100% ready this would have ALL been avoided....
he rushes back down.. I look at him and say we better stop and say a prayer..cause I am about ready to head back upstairs..
he looks at me and says if we don't start walking to the train station right now we wont make it...
so we start walking..
the weather has changed and we are all walking in the beautiful sunny weather bundled up like its snowing!!!!!
so HOT.. half way just to the train station.. tad is struggling saying itchy itchy
I say tad your going to have to just keep on keeping on.. as we cant stop..
AT wiggin cause I am usually able to book it..but I got a marmot on that gets up to 650 degrees inside and carrying ozzy in my arms.. while trying to coaxs tad along.. YO AT I am giving you my best.. PROMISE!!! all the while STILL dumb founded that this is all happening..
so we get to step one.. our train station.. just missing a train.. but another one come about every 5 mins.. but AT is sweating and not talking just THINKING.. this is when I know to dig deep, keep cool and go the distance..
so I pull the boys in and talk.. find out tad had two socks on one foot.. solved that itchy thing.. let them take a deep breathe cause we needs to be on the ball..
so we catch the next train.. AT starts doing the math ( looking up at the schedule) he looks at me and says alright the in 8 stops we are going to have to get off.. make a transfer in 5mins..then have 8 mins to make it to our bullet train..
we divide up how its going to work as we have two big suitcases so I say I got all the kids.. you take the luggage.. as he also needs to be free to THINK to map out our route when we get off.. as there are SO many different lines.... I tell him.. NO prob.. we can do it.. NO prob we CAN and WILL do it ( freaking said my own prayer a while back)
I strap ozzy in the front pack got trues on my hip.. have the boys all in the game of staying safe and in my view.. following those two big ogio bags:)
so I book it in the direction AT tells me to.. I look back as I am right in front of where he says the train will come.. he tells me to hold back that not our train..(as he is stuck on the escalator with the bags.. yah thats right we beat him:)
then as he gets closer he like jump on it.. that IS OURS.. he was thrown off as this train was 2 mins LATE.. now you must know this is VERY rare.. trains are NOT late!!!
so again 4 stops its time to make our bullet.. we do the same routine.. SWEET we get on...not only do we board a hot mess... but I bust out doritos for the kids.. and the DS which was of course a tool.. of we can do it.. THEN we can play DS for 4 hours straight:) but the train leaves 2 mins after we step on!!!
AT looks at me and says why does it always have to be such drama?? i choose to ignore the comment.. as AT you need to remember this is not you alone going to one of your business trips.. you have a few pairs of shorter legs that are NEEDING to keep up:)
