we did it

dad left to korea this morning for work.. so we started getting ready for the trip up to church on our own:)
I was SO proud that we did it!!!! was not only on time but remembered how to do it!!!!!!!
church was just as always.. with small children.. awesome and great to stay in the habit!! it was stake conference.. they had a room upstairs for people with small children.. jonah and tad you tried to pull the can I play.. but for heaven sakes your 6 and 4..nice try.. but I did let you sprawl all out and color:) jonah you are into writing notes.. love to read them:)
the best part of this sunday that top last sunday.. is on the way home I took our train going in the wrong direction.. I knew the second I got on something wasnt right:) I pulled out my card that dad wrote with the name of our stop.. I politely asked the man standing next to us, he pointed in the other direction.
people here our most of the time in their own thoughts so I always ask softy and meekly, as I know I am interrupting their train of thought.. HOWEVER they are ever so helpful and kind..
so when I got off the very next stop.. I was confused cause it wasnt plain to see our line, so again I asked another man with my handy dandy card.. he quickly ran over to the chart to check and rushed back to me .. he held up the number 7 to let me know how many stops away I was.. and which way to head..
we hopped on.. when our stop came 20 mins later, that same man happened to still be on the train 4 sections away.. he came all the way over to make sure I knew this was my stop!!
walking home I got emotional for his kindness. I had so many things I was grateful for..
we are all getting pushed and its AWESOME!!
