while skyping with mother.. she was talking about how another grand daughter who didnt know about the Revolutionary War.. .. she referred to me AS IF I would know.. she said you know the picture of George Washington at Valley Forge in prayer above my fireplace?? UMMMMM mother I thought that was a picture of JFS or Brigham Young??
she began to hold her boosums and do her mother laugh of " I cant breath"
then she so sweetly told me about how he ( george washington ) was kneeling in prayer saying "I need your help, my soldiers have no shoes, food shelter.. we are getting creamed!! as we were fighting with England to be able to worship as we wish, whatever religion that is..
when God's will is on your side just tell me TELL ME what can't be done?? I have thought about this war, this plea from our President of the United States.. how awesome that at one time our country was being lead, STARTED by men this pure in heart..
How even more awesome that I have a mother to be able to tell me about it..
I have always told her.. I get that rock on your hand, I told her I no longer want that!!! I get that picture above her fireplace that has been there for a few decades.. good to finally put a face to the name:)
