parent day at kindergarden..
what a day.. so we start out to take trues to the nursery.. it IS bitter cold.. so I run you boys to school.. then tell tad over and OVER..I will be back..I cant do you, ozzy and TRUES.. someone had to go.. so you run into line.. I RUN trues up over the hill. check here in.. come back to see you are just taking your shoes off.. you must have STALLED.. but I had talked to you boys the night before to see who's class I would visit first as I would have to divide myself ( of course AT working. even though its Saturday and most dads are there with their kids also NO other parent has two kids in kindergarden.. RARELY do they have them as close together as you boys..)
so parents were to come today to play with kids.. REALLY play..there would be NO sitting back just being present.. as I fought off the aides, teachers AS LONG as I could.. all wanting to hold ozzy encouraging me to play, PLAY.. really actively PLAY!!! I understand their thinking.. but we as a family all give and take.. sure I can't always do this or do that cause am DOING a 2 year old or infant.. I suppose they just dont know me.. and KNOW how I feel or think.. as over and over no matter how much harder it is with FOUR kids.. we have SUCH a fun time together.. you all LOVE and throughly enjoy what each of you bring to our family... as while the teacher is explaining all the games that can be played/activities to choose from tad is engaged in making ozzy laugh asking me to sit so he may " help you mama" (yes my kids have started calling me mama" ) why I dont know??
anyways.. you are rubbing your cheek to cheek with ozzy.. we are in our own cocoon sometimes:)
I wish sometimes when people give me this look of WHOA 4 kids.. to give them a glance back that simply says "this rocks.. YOU just DONT know what you are missing SERIOUSLY !!!" HOWEVER each to their own.. I respect that..

so fun to SEE all in action.. to see it all come together.. why there has to be a string on the choo towel.. why cups are important.. why slippers are important to see a teacher HAVE COMPLETE control of the 30 plus students at ALL times.. NO hitting shoving.. seriously you just have never seen anything like it.. as in america half the class twice the craziness!!!
little songs to go along with changing events.. just simple innocences is what i see and feel.. I SO HOPE the boys remember this.. as its just so neat!!
