so we set out to leave with AT's old missionary friend and HER SUPER cute family.. to see LOOK who's lives in our building!!!
I tell AT to HURRY come talk to this boy.. AT lays into him. to end.. with lets all get along.. at the time.. I remember feeling all safe.. like this was suppose to be.. as we wanted to talk to him more.. to find out why in his mind would it ever be okay to rough up a little guy?? especially a boy that cant communicate with him.....
well LONG story short this was on monday.. still in golden week.. jonah you return to school on thursday to come and say that THIS boy was telling the other boys to swing you around by your feet and drop you!!!!! so with AT having left on the road.. I let you stay home on friday.. as you just weren't up for hitting school. as dad had called the teacher to say he is STILL getting picked on by the older boys.. the teacher said.. that you need to stay away and TRY and not PLAY WITH THEM.. let them do their big kid things..
WHAT was so INTERESTING.. is you watched out the window friday as you heard the school let out.. YOU saw this boy.. and RAN out our apt.. to run down to greet him.. I was putting ozzy down for a nap.. and I asked you why you stepped out of the apt.. you said yoU wanted to just say HI.. what the CRAP..to the KID that you have been" nervous they are going to hurt me"
JONAH.. you may NOT play with them.. they don't want to take the time.. with a little kid... why are you picking these particular boys..
as JUST today.. a week from this event.. DAD went and watched you at recess... SO many kids try and engage with you... older kids look out for you and play with you.. ( which I AM sure was partly due to dad calling and being like WHAT THE CRAP.. they are 6 sixth graders.. never mind.. if you go and kick their ball right in the middle of their game..) but with all events.. time that has passed.. I think we are on a better road.. better understanding..
