we had a parent meeting today at school to prepare us for the kindergarden kids heading off to 1st grade .. a BIG deal here.. BIG..( this happens in April)
fortunately AT could attend!! so before I headed in I thought I would run by Jonahs class as its right by the meeting room.. I peek in to see ALL the kids in just their underwear in two different lines ( SOOOOOO wanted to take a pix in the WORST way but I might have been burned at the stakes as I have been asked not to take pictures at the school) .. I don't think much as this culture has SUCH an innocences about them.. I am sure their in a good reason for this.. I see Jonah getting direction from his teacher to get down to his undies.. he FREAKS out to book it to the door.. SO LUCKY I was right there to
1. say when the teacher asks you to do something you NEED to do it... ( you are my pride in joy.. I would NEVER leave you somewhere, where I didn't TRUST the system or person.. this teacher is THE sweetest teacher..)
2. that it all the sudden DAWNED on me that it was weight and height checking day.. they REALLY must want an accurate weight... I mean really they should have just taken off the undies too ( I do ).. WHICH btw some boys didn't have undies on.. NO biggie:) seriously have thought about this all day.. the innocence is held on here for much LONGer
so glad I was there to help you understand.. which you LOVE understanding..
but towards the end of the 30 min meeting which I SWEAR the VP did NOT take a breath..( her voice is so soft and soothing..it always takes me back to our first meeting the 3rd day I was in Japan..)
I just knew AT would translate all she said in ONE sentence.. his favorite thing to do to me:)
anyways I ducked out as trues was starting to get antsy.. looked out to see jonah playing doge ball.. its too cute that I am sneaky sneaky and take some pixs.. STILL wishing I could have been SUPER sneaky and got the photo of the kids in their undies.. but that would have been SUCH a violation..

That is the best story EVER! Can you even IMAGINE that here??? Law suits out the yang! I love keeping them innocent longer. It's hard to do when the majority of the kids are exposed to things suited for teenagers or adults. At least in my world. Still giving it a good shot. I can just picture all of these little children all standing in their underwear...or naked! I love Jonah.
