just when I start to think I CAN NOT do this rule.. its just to overwhelming.. I got some monkeys hanging off of me... can't I fudge a little on this??? THE only thing that holds me back is I KNOW on the other end they are giving their 100%.. I suppose I am feeling guilty sending the nutella sandwich and doritos for lunch.. as I thought to tell the boys LAY LOW.. but then I would be teaching them to LIE.. not good.
as even the other day I was making suggestions of what I could put in their bento. " no mom they will get mad" this is one of those times I thought FETCH.. its my kid.. if I want to feed him suckers all the live long day... HOWEVER I KNOW They take their teacher job SO SERIOUSLY. their is no rest, no 50% given.. NO 98% given.. its ALWAYS 100% ALWAYS.. why as their mom can't I just be invested in making their school days filled with fun and carefree NO SUGAR highs:)
so you came home and said they saw the chips and they didn't care SO what do i do??? so playing around today I made a rice ball with a piece of hi-chew in the middle.. alright now I am just playing with fire!! I'll stop.. but its been so long since I have been able to be irreverent!! something MOM craves on a daily bases.. its BEEN CUT DOWN ALOT!!

LOL. Oh, the good ol' bento. This is a huge competition among the moms in Japan. They see who can make their bento the fanciest. I remember the carrots in the shape of flowers...apples in the shape of rabbits...raddish in the shape of roses. BUT, my favorite bento is now the nutella sandwhich with chips!!! I love it! I think it's great that the kids get to eat lunch from a bento box...what a fun memory it will be for them when they're older.
