jonahs graduation.. big deal!!! now I was NOT prepared.. jonah was dressed way down.. which I don't totally get either why I saw girls wearing the same dress.. its as if one does it they all do it.. I do have to say japanese seem to not like to stand out.. meaning.. its not like their was a set dress code.. but how they get the same dress when their ARE so many to choose from.. but wanting to look nice with out standing out?? hard to explain..
but still laughing at
1. AT mocking his OWN culture, when it has ALWAYS been his desire to have his children experience this.. then to MOCK it?? hmmm trying to figure out the logic in that..
2. jonah you so DO NOT like the spot light.. as when you were to turn around to do your performance.. it is as if you dug deep and went to a far off place.. as to shut out.. " I am so not here.. I am so NOT being embarrassed or stared at.... it was so my jonah.. so my SWEET jonah..
oops on the dress code.. don't worry a mom has already offered for you to wear her older sons suit for 1st grade.. as I don't know if we really need to bust of a black suit that is spendy for one day:)
as that was also funny right when we got to school.. you saw the other kids digs.. you went over far away by the tree.. I went over to you.. and you were tugging to take off your sweater as you said you look stupid.. made me feel bad.. but you seem to quickly get over it.. with just being able to wear the white polo.. if it makes you feel better AT was wearing dark jeans.. we were definitely low key. but AT said this is the cultures time to really dress up.. as they rarely go to parties and such??
