you went to the door and jonah sat on your shoes. and you half tried to get them.. REALLY just LOVING that he cared enough to play in this little drama skit you were pulling!!!!
you even came over to me after I took these pixs and said "let me see me crying"
you then came to me and said I don't want to go.. what if a stranger danger gets me.. I PULLED you in ever so closely and told you.. if I had heard that door open I would have ran and shut it and NEVER EVER let you walk out that door.. you said "shanks mom.. all the while still sobbing and giving my arm the up down rub massage you like to do...... TAD.. you are so worn out by 6 o'l clock.. you play and exert ALOT of energy at school.. you's a tired!!!!!!
Oh my gosh, this killed me! Jonah, I LOVE YOU! Tad, we'd all shrivel up like dead raisins if you weren't around. Jaime, you are the cutes mother on the planet. I love the relationship your boys have. Jonah was so true to himself...he didn't yell or beg....just sat on the shoes. Huge statement. LOVE you guys.!
ReplyDeleteOh James, I LOVE this one. Jord has pulled that one on me before too. I think your story had a better ending though.....I think that is that Mommy that made for that ending...and nobody was sitting on his shoes either!! Ha ha...LOVE HIM!! "Shanks" for sharing that!!
ReplyDeleteStephanie actually went to the neighbor's once. Every kids goes through it. I remember thinking about it late at night when I was probably over tired. You did the right thing. He LOVES you all too much to ever make good on a threat like that but it is good that he can voice it and not be squashed!
