jonah seriously your load seems to be SOOO much lighter.. while going to the video store this morning with dad.. an older kid is waving his arms all big saying HI JONAH...
you proceed to tell dad that, that is the bald kid that was being mean to you.. but he said he was sorry and you are now friends.....
????????????? makes no sense to me... as you haven't even had contact with your mates from school... although we believe you were getting pushed around.. we think, you taken out of the situation that was BEYOND stressful for you.. you are able to breathe.. step back and see things a bit clearer...
as even hours later.. while walking home from picking up tad.. then hanging around at the park.. you seeing ma-chan and nao.. playing in the street with them..
i ask you about the bald kid..( as we see some other older kids that say hi..) you tell me you are now friends with the one bald kid.. and that you decided to forgive him......
this whole experienced has cemented in my mind.. things are going to happen..you will be wronged.. BUT really when it comes down to it..
how you react is the only thing we can control in life.......
for now.. i am loving to sit in this sweet peace.. as i feel it from you...... you feel good about yourself...... maybe its your loose tooth, maybe its that we only have 17 days left till we go home, maybe its you turning 7.. you feel a bit older and wiser..
